Technical conditions of experimental animal operating table

The experimental animal operating table refers to a work table for fixing or supporting an animal and performing anatomy and surgery on the animal, and an auxiliary device thereof. It is mainly composed of a table top, a bracket, a fixture, a drawer (item box), a mechanical or electronic control device and the like. Its size, size and form can vary from animal to animal and experiment. The operating table can be divided into a large animal operating table and a small animal operating table. The large animal operating table is suitable for experimental animals such as dogs, pigs, sheep and rabbits; the small animal operating table is suitable for small animals such as rats, mice, hamsters and guinea pigs.

The height and inclination of the bracket are adjustable, and the requirements are simple, reliable, and reliable. 3 fixture

3.1 Fixation of the head

3.2 Fixation of animals when standing upright

3.3 Fixation of limbs

The inner side of the clip can be provided with a soft padding to ensure that the ends of the limbs of the animal are not pinched when the animal limbs are fixed, thereby reducing the pain. The animal limbs can also be bound with a wide cloth strap, and the free ends of the cloth belt are fixed on the fixing rods on both sides of the table top.

4 sewage device

On the upper surface of the large animal operating table, a circular or conical drain hole should be arranged in the middle of the lower side, and a drain pipe is connected below the drain hole. The inner and outer surfaces of the sewage pipe should be smooth and corrosion resistant, easy to discharge dirt, and easy to clean and clean. A dirt bucket (or tray) can be placed under the drain pipe to collect dirt. A hot and cold water supply system can be provided on one side of the animal operating table to facilitate experimental operation and flushing of the table top and surgical operating instruments.

5 item box

Under the large animal operating table, an item box can be arranged to store articles and instruments, and the size and quantity thereof are suitable for the needs. Under the large animal operating table, there are also 1~2 layers of pallets, which can be used for placing trays, dirt buckets and other items.

6 electronic control system

The operating table can be equipped with an electronic control unit for lifting, weighing, power supply, etc. The operating table can also be equipped with anesthesia machine, ventilator, ECG monitoring, X-ray, photography and other equipment to modernize it to facilitate the application of various medical technologies.
